WORTHY Prints in Holy Grounds
By Danielle
WORTHY apparel is being sold now in Holy Grounds for a limited time only! From Danielle: “My name is Danielle, my family and I are part of All Saints Parish Coquitlam. I started Worthy prints for two reasons. The first reason is because I was moved to see God’s message out in the world in a trendy way, that even those who are not the faithful would be drawn to notice, and His words could draw their heart to His. Reason two is to help provide for our family. I painted this verse on a canvas and I place it in front of me every day while I work, ‘commit your work to The Lord and your plans will succeed.’ Proverbs 16:3”
Holy Grounds Update!
Holy Grounds is closed Jan 30 – Feb 6
This week Holy Grounds is closed as we reassess how to best serve you while keeping everyone’s health and safety as one of our top priorities.
Moving forward we will be assessing the risks on a week by week basis and announcing here the status of Holy Grounds, whether it is open or closed. Please check back here for next week’s update.
If you would like to see the WORTHY sweaters (as mentioned above), you can visit Holy Grounds for that purpose!
Healing Mass
Celebration of the Sacrament of the Infirm. These celebrations will take place on Tuesday, February 15th at 6:30 pm and Friday, February 18th at 9:15 am. Confession is available before these Masses. All are invited to receive the healing touch of Jesus. For those who are weakened by age and different ailments, the Lord wants to ensure you are not suffering alone. He wants to use this Sacrament to support you in this time of difficulty. Anyone who is going through life-threatening surgeries should receive this sacrament. With Jesus on our side, it is consoling to know that we can fight a good fight. “The special grace of the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick has as its effects: the uniting of the sick person to the passion of Christ, for his own good and that of the whole Church; the strengthening, peace, and courage to endure in a Christian manner the sufferings of illness or old age; the forgiveness of sins, if the sick person was not able to obtain it through the sacrament of penance; the restoration of health, if it is conducive to the salvation of his soul; the preparation for passing over to eternal life” (CCC 1532). |
