Homecoming Youth Retreat

a journey with Christ to heaven.
for Youth born in 2007 & 2008

Homecoming provides youth an opportunity to build community with their peers. By combining practical skills, a faith perspective and spiritual development, the participants learn and grow in their faith through activities, presentations, games, skits, reflection, sharing and the opportunity to practice skills in a safe environment.
We will explore the question of: “Who am I as a child of God and what is my call to holiness in my family, with my friends, in my parish community and at large?”
Integral parts of this formation experience include: prayer, community-building, small group discussions and outdoor recreation activities.
Most of all, it inspires the youth to continue on in their faith journey in relationship to Jesus Christ and others.

Cancellation of Vacation Bible School (VBS) 2022

Hello dear family, thank you to all youth and adults who had expressed their dedication of time and talents to help us make VBS possible this year.
We have prayerfully considered how we might move forward with VBS this year. Unfortunately, in our efforts, we were unable to secure enough volunteers to fill all the critical roles and have now run out of time to find them and prepare them adequately.
Please pray with us for all our children, youth leaders, adult leaders and their families this summer.
We hope that next year we will have the pleasure of bringing Vacation Bible School back to life here in the St.Patrick’s community, if it is God’s will for us.
Til’ then, blessings to you all and we pray and hope you will have a beautiful, joyful and faith-filled summer with the family.

Every week we are going to personally recommend a book for your on your spiritual journey.

Looking for a gift for the Father is your life? Check out this week’s book recommend.

In an age when fathers are more important than ever, how do you embark on your journey to manhood and know how to steer clear of the dangers along the way?

Fathered by God calls men back to a simple and reassuring truth: God is our Father, and he wants to show us what masculinity really means. Eldredge teaches us that there’s a path leading to authentic manhood, cut by generation after generation of men. There are perils along the trail, even disasters–all the more reason to rely on the guidance of a Father who has gone before us. A boy has a lot to learn in his journey to becoming a man, and it takes the active intervention of father figures and the fellowship of other men to guide us along the way. Eldredge shares that in all of life’s trials and triumphs, God is initiating boys and men through the stages of manhood.

Through personal stories and practical guidance, Eldredge provides a map through the six stages of a man’s journey and answers some of the most common questions about manhood. Fathered by God maps out the path of manhood–not more rules, not another list of principles, not formulas, but a well-worn path that men have followed for centuries before us.

Discover the truth about masculinity and become the man that God sees in you.
Fathered by God, authored by John Eldredge.
This book is available in our parish bookstore for $21 a copy.
