We believe that everyone should have the chance to explore faith, ask questions, and share their point of view.
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation.
Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. It runs online, in cafés, churches, universities, homes—you name it. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: connection, content, and conversation.

Share life, faith, hope and Jesus on Alpha.
Alpha is an 11-week course that creates space for people to have a conversation about life and faith over a warm, home-cooked meal. Alpha also equips churches to create dialogue where people from any background, religion, spirituality, upbringing and socioeconomic status can encounter Jesus. It provides an expression of faith with some topics being, “Why did Jesus Die”, “What does the Holy Spirit Do?”, and “How can I make the most of the rest of my life?” Over 1 million people in Canada have experienced Alpha and at St. Patrick’s we had 13 people join in the morning and 40 joined in the evening this past Fall. We will be starting up again in April!
