May God bless you all on this day and every day that follows!

Thank you to EVERYONE who came out, who had fun, who smiled, danced, celebrated, ate, drank, laughed, conversed, climbed a rock wall, ate too many sweets, threw axes, got their face painted, drank lemonade, dressed up, got their pictures taken, climbed an apple tree, and made the evening the wonderful event that it was!

Thank you for coming!!

Your joy and enthusiasm for our annual parish festival made the event the very special evening that it was!!

Thank you to Maria Fonseca and our Parish School staff who spent the evening providing popcorn and tours, prepared their classrooms to show all of our parents everything wonderful they have planned for this school year.

Thank you to Louis T for the generous donations of beer and wine and to those who set up the private space for adults to gather.

Thank you to those who came to late night meetings; who made candles and ordered extra coffee beans; who stood behind tables filled with programs we offer; who welcomed; who made coffee; who wore silly dinosaur hats; who made cotton candy; who strung lights; who set up tables, fences and axe throwing rings; who stretched extension cords; who took out the trash; who organized, prepped, schlepped, stretched, bent, lifted, painted, arranged… and laughed.

Thank you to those who stayed to clean. Who picked up. Who undid. Who put away. Who organized. Those of you who again lifted, sorted, took out more trash, swept, mopped, and returned our parish to its usual welcoming self.

Thank you for welcoming new faces; thank you all for being the giving kind and generous community that St. Patrick’s is truly known for.

While we’re still sorting through pictures and permissions, we hope you’ll enjoy just a few lovely images from our night of fun!

Making Sense of Anxiety in Children and Youth

The escalating level of anxiety in our children begs for an explanation as well as a solution. Dr. Gordon Neufeld sheds light on this age-old problem, paving the way for natural interventions that can actually get to the root causes as opposed to just managing symptoms. Although the focus is on children, this enlightening material will benefit anyone suffering from anxiety.

Dr. Neufeld’s revolutionary yet science-specific approach turns parenting right-side-up, restoring natural intuition to parenting and putting parents back in the driver’s seat. This video course takes the best that science has to offer and renders it readily accessible to parents of children of all ages.

Every Thursday, starting September 21 until October 19, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. via Zoom. Cost is $25. Learn more and register at  beholdvancouver.org/events.
