Bulletin: 3rd Sunday of Advent

Our parish relies on your generosity. Your donations each year directly impact our ability to minister to those in need, to provide special programs such as Alpha and CGS, to offer small group faith studies, to maintain our buildings, and to grow our parish school.

Empowering our Parish Vision
Your Project Advance tax-deductible donation funds works such as Youth and young adults ministry, new Catholic schools, programs supporting families, feeding homeless and vulnerable, pastoral ministry and support for the hospitalized.
Once the parish goal is met, all additional funds are directed back to parish projects identified by our Pastor and Parish Leadership Team. Thank you so much for your generosity.
We are SO close – every year the Archdiocese assigns our parish a fundraising target for Project Advance, which we are required to fulfill either through direct donations or taking out of our parish general fund; every penny above comes directly back to the parish to support our community here.
Our target for 2025 is $49,100. We have currently raised to date $42,636.
Please help us support our community and raise the remaining funds for this calendar year.

Pre-labelled Parish donation envelopes are available for pick up for those who prefer to donate with cash or cheque. Please use these envelopes starting Jan 1, 2026.
There is a limited number of physical envelopes available and they are pre-labelled based on parishioner preference.
For parishioners who donate electronically, there is no need to pick up a physical envelope for donations – your donations are recorded electronically and your envelope # does not change in the new year.
Envelopes for Second Collections are additionally available at the office for your use.
Please contact the parish office if you require paper envelopes and one is not already available for you.

Mass Intentions
The Catholic Church dedicates the entire month of November to the Holy Souls in Purgatory. During this month we pray for the souls of the faithful departed, especially those whom we have known and loved. The season of Holy Souls reveals our reflection of our own mortality, celebrating and mourning those who have gone before us, and gently gathering the past into Godโs loving embrace.ย

The third week of Advent : Light the first and second purple candles and the rose candle
Lighting the Advent wreath isnโt just a time-honoured tradition, itโs also an amazing opportunity to create meaningful connections and discussions with your loved ones! Deepen your experience with these beautiful Advent wreath prayers that will help you reflect on the season in a profound way.
Bless your Advent Wreath:
Dear Jesus, as we light the candle(s) on this Advent wreath, may the light of your presence bring joy to our hearts. Bless our family and our friends, and be with all those who are in need this holiday season. Amen.
Read from Scripture: “And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them.” (Luke 2:20)
Pray the Advent Wreath Prayer for Week 3: Dear Jesus, help us focus on you during this busy season. May we stay aware of the joy you bring into our lives. We want to find you in the everyday moments and come with hearts of gratitude to your manger on Christmas. Amen.โ
Reflect: On a scale from 1-10, how would you rate your joy and hope this Advent? How might God be inviting you to open yourself up to the joy of the season and hope in our Lord and Saviour?

Mark your calendars for our upcoming Candlelight Masses and Breakfast, offered this Advent season on Monday, Dec 22 at 7am. ย
These special events are quiet, beautiful, reflective Masses that help us focus our intentions and fill our hearts with the warmth that comes with the wondrous knowing our Lord is near and He knows each of us by name.
Please. Join us.
Please also RSVP so our organizers can prepare for a lovely breakfast for all who come.
