Thank you!
Celebrating the rising of our Lord each Easter fills our parish with many beautiful traditions and events. We would like to thank everyone who contributed their time, love, and labour:
Good Friday:
To our bread and soup makers – Maria Damiani, Linda & Ron Philips and Cathy Albrecht, thank you so much for the delicious meal on Good Friday; and to our servers and helpers – Misceo and Powell families and Silvia Dewi, thank you so much for running the kitchen efficiently and smoothly and helping return Holy Grounds back to its usual coffee-house state in time for our Good Friday service.
Vigil:
Thank you to Mike Albrecht for preparing the Easter fire.
To our altar ladies – Lucia, Shirley and Linda, thank you so much volunteering your talents to restoring our Altar to its usual glory during the Vigil.
To Margaret Z – thank you so much for the beautiful flower arrangements for our Altar.
For help with the Vigil reception – Monica T, Gloria L & Emily S – thank you so much for your hard work and for serving our parish with the beautiful Vigil reception.
Easter Morning Sunday Socials:
Thank you to Veronika, Julia and Margaret Z following the 9am Mass and Emma S, Margaret J, MIkeyla B, and Cecilia Y for following the 11:15am Mass for efficiently running and organizing our Easter Sunday Social and being the warm welcoming faces at each event.
Easter Triduum:
Thank you to Randy Tabada and Lorna D’mello for doing so much to prepare our church for the Easter Liturgies.
Thank you to our Chamber Choir for their many hours of rehearsal in order to provide incredible music to the Lord for every Service and Mass through the Easter Triduum.
Thank you to Joshua, Patrick, and Dhillon for attending every service and Mass through and live streaming them for all to see who are unable to attend in person or would like to re-watch with their loved ones.
Thank you to our Senior Altar servers and Marko J and Michael S for returning to your leadership roles and guiding the young men of the parish in serving as altar servers for every event from Holy Thursday through Easter Sunday morning.
Thank you to Lucia Medeiros for preparing the Altar linens.
Thank you to Anita Alberto for joining our Easter Vigil and providing beautiful pictures of the event and of our Catechumens.
Thank you to our team of greeters who make visiting our parish home a joy for everyone.
Finally, thank you so much to all of those who came, who greeted, who served, who cleaned and prepped, who put out chairs and picked up chairs. The running of our parish requires many hands and hearts, and we are forever grateful to each and every person who leans in and gives a little of their time and talent.

Please join us for our bi-weekly Food Recovery Program Giveaway this Sunday, April 12th after the conclusion of the 11:15am Mass. Gates open at either 12:30pm or after Mass, which ever is later.
This week we are grateful to our donors, who are always so generous and without whom we could not offer this program to our community. Thank you to the Friends in Need Food Bank; Food Bank on Wheels; the Port Coquitlam Costco; the Port Coquitlam Safeway Bakery; Shoppers on 240th; Starbucks at the Valley Fair Mall and on 227th and Dewdney; and Save On Foods.
Those individuals who have mobility challenges or require the use of walkers or canes please form a separate line at the gate. Individuals with families or are pulling large carts, please remain in the main lineup.
