Bulletin: The 16th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Holy Grounds is CLOSED…
just this week (July 21- 25) due to a week long training being held for our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd teachers and staff.
We look forward to welcoming you back next week!

Our parish relies on your generosity. Your donations each year directly impact our ability to minister to those in need, to provide special programs such as Alpha and CGS, to offer small group faith studies, to maintain our buildings, and to grow our parish school.

Ministry Updates & Upcoming Events

The summer bug has bitten Father Matthew, and he will be away for two weeks for a brief respite. He will return on Monday, July 28th. We are very grateful to Father Claude Makulu for providing coverage with all daily Masses and weekend Masses while Father Matthew is away. Thank you Father Claude!

Every freezer is full to bursting; our dried goods pantry is stocked with a wonderful selection, and we have fresh fruits, vegetables and meals coming in from several vendors.
Please join us this Sunday, July 20th at 12:30pm (or when the 11:15am Mass is completed) for an enjoyable and fast shop for items you or your family could use.
Doors open when Mass is completed or at 12:30pm, whichever is later.
We have donations this week from: Food Bank on Wheels, Safeway Bakery, Starbucks, Shoppers, Save On, Burnaby Costco and Port Coquitlam Costco.
See you then!
Our Food Recovery Program is growing rapidly and our team could use a few more hands to help with setup and breakdown. Please reach out to Jen Castle at the parish office if you are interested in periodically offering support. [email protected]
Help Wanted
The Celtics Club is looking for a reliable and responsible individual to join our after-school team! Duties include supervising students, leading fun and engaging projects, and overseeing outdoor play.
Hours: 3:00–5:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Experience working with children is an asset.
If you’re energetic, dependable, and enjoy working with kids, we’d love to hear from you! Please email Mrs. Fonseca at [email protected].

Please join us in joyous congratulations for the baptisms of Silas and Sebastian Renko.

We pray that both children always feel God’s love shining down upon them.

Even in the midst of summertime sunshine, when the gardens are full of green and the flowers burst forth and share their beauty with us, many are in need of prayer and support.
If you or someone you know could use a little help from the power of the Holy Spirit, we invite you to reach out to our prayer ministry team.
Our ‘Pray for Me’ form is fully confidential and your prayer requests will be quietly fulfilled by our prayer ministry, a team of dedicated individuals who received the special gift of prayer from the Holy Spirit.
You are important to us and we value you in every way. Please reach out if there is anything more that we can do to support you.
