Our parish relies on your generosity. Your donations each year directly impact our ability to minister to those in need, to provide special programs such as Alpha and CGS, to offer small group faith studies, to maintain our buildings, and to grow our parish school.

Ministry Updates & Upcoming Events
We have a larger Food Recovery Giveaway planned for this Sunday, January 5th at 12:30pm. Donors include: Safeway Bakery, Shoppers, Starbucks, Burnaby Costco and PoCo Costco.
It’s time to take down the Christmas trees and decorations that have brightened our beautiful parish through the past several weeks.
Please come on Monday, January the 6th, from 8:30am to 10:30am (or until finished) to break down and safely store away all those cherished things that remind us of Christmas.
Many hands make the work light and joyous and we look forward to good conversations and laughter with you as we prepare our parish for the rest of 2025.
The new year has begun, now is the time of trial where your intentions, goals, hopes for 2025 are put to the test. Come and spend an hour with our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration with beautiful Praise and Worship. Friday, January 10th at 7pm.
Finished Alpha? About to start Rescue? Wondering what is next? Feeling like you want to give your faith life a boost? Email Hannah to inquire about small groups. Small groups are intended to build lasting friendships and deepen our love for Jesus and what He has done for us. Come experience authentic friendship, close bonds and learning more about Jesus in a far more personal way than perhaps ever thought possible.
It takes many hands and warm, generous hearts at this time of year for so many Masses and special events to happen. We want to take a minute to acknowledge all of those who gave of their time and talents to open our parish up day after day, welcoming, greeting, cooking, cleaning, hauling, lifting, setting up, taking down, smiling, singing, greeting, and so much more. It can be hard to remember all the little ways acts of kindness were extended and received throughout the holiday season, but we have a few specific people to acknowledge who have gone above and beyond:
Thank you to Divine and Cecile for hosting both of the Christmas Socials, for setting everything out, warming up, cleaning, preparing coffee, and all with loving hearts and big warm smiles of welcome. We are so grateful to you both for giving your time and talent on this very special day.
Thank you to the Jakus men who prepared our basement with seating so that our parish could still offer warm and comfortable seating when the main church body was too full to accommodate everyone.
Thank you to Joshua Valouche and Patrick Schafli for providing the Live Stream service for every single Mass through Christmas.
Thank you to our choir and our choirs families for giving so much of your time to rehearsal and preparation and coming to multiple Masses and events day after day to help lift our hearts and spirits through praise and worship.
Thank you to Cathy Albrecht for providing her delicious sausage rolls for our New Years Eve Champagne Social. We so appreciate your contribution to making everyone feel warm and welcome following Encounter.
Support your Parish
Every act of help and support keeps our parish running and is an integral part of achieving our parish mission. We are so very grateful to all.
If you would like to serve the parish by donating your time or skills, please let us know.
Pre-labelled Parish donation envelopes are available for pick up for those who prefer to donate with cash or cheque.
Please use these envelopes starting Jan 1, 2025.
There is a limited number of physical envelopes available and they are pre-labelled based on parishioner preference.
For parishioners who donate electronically, there is no need to pick up a physical envelope for donations – your donations are recorded electronically and your envelope # does not change in the new year.
Envelopes for Second Collections are additionally available at the office for your use.
Please contact the parish office if you require paper envelopes and one is not already available for you.
