Ministry Updates & Upcoming Events

Please join us on Friday, June 5th at 7pm for an evening of Eucharistic Adoration with Praise & Worship. Come, light a candle, and pray for your intentions as we step forward into our summer months.

Please join us in joyful prayer and congratulations for the Baptism of Amelia Junatas.
May God’s grace and blessings that you received on your Baptism guide you throughout your life.

Please plan ahead: Children and their families who are receiving the Sacrament of First Holy Communion will attend the 4:30pm Mass on Sunday, June 7th. The parish will be very full, and we encourage you to consider attending one of our other Masses.

Please join us in congratulating our newest members of the parish
to have received the Sacrament of Confirmation this past Sunday.
We pray the Holy Spirit fills your hearts and your souls that you may continue to further the Mission of our Parish and our Faith.

Thank you so much to Elizabeth Lesiczka for the sharing of your time and talents in creating the stoles for all of our young people who recently received the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Rebuild My Church: Vocations Stories of the Franciscan Friars of Canada
As part of the Jubilee Year of St. Francis, hear the vocation stories of men who have heard the call from God to “rebuild his Church” in this new video series from the Franciscan Friars of Canada. This is an opportunity for all to learn about the Franciscan charism, with a special invitation to young men to discern and see if they have a calling to join the friars. You can view the trailer and videos on the Franciscan Friars of Canada YouTube channel.

Stronger Together – Project Advance 2026
For over 45 years, Project Advance has been an important part in the life of our Archdiocese. Through your generosity, new churches and Catholic schools have been built, parish communities have grown, and the message of God’s love continues to touch hearts. Because of you, the mission of the Church extends far beyond the walls of your parish. The sick are comforted and cared for. Students and young people are discovering faith and purpose. Families are supported in marriage, healing, and times of loss. And those who are struggling are met with compassion and hope. Through these ministries, people are encountering Jesus Christ. All of this is possible when we work together – and our parishes and communities are stronger together.

Help Not Harm Canada
You’re invited to visit HelpNotHarmCanada.ca where you can e-mail your Member of Parliament (MP), asking for their support of Bill C-218 (The Right to Recover Act), which would amend the Criminal Code to prevent Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) from being provided when mental illness is the sole underlying condition. Without this change, MAiD will be available for those suffering from mental illness alone beginning in March 2027. Chances are you know someone struggling with mental illness — a family member, friend, or colleague. As Catholics and Canadians, we are called to offer care, hope, and protection — not death — to those who are suffering and most vulnerable. Visit HelpNotHarmCanada.ca today and ask your MP to support Bill C-218.
