Jesus says to the woman at the well, “Ask Him, and He will give you living water.” (John 4:10)
Our prayer ministry is a team of people that, as instruments, want to use our gift of prayer to bring every person into the abiding love of the Heavenly Father, so that they may receive living water.
With our prayers, we participate in the healing ministry of the Church. We have a supernatural trust in the miracles of God, who deeply loves and wants an abundant life for every person.
“For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20)

Formation for Lay Ministry Scholarship
Are you serving in your parish or a Catholic ministry and feel called to grow deeper in your faith and leadership? The Formation for Lay Ministry Scholarship is for lay leaders already involved in ministry who want to be better equipped to serve. Through graduate-level courses in theology and pastoral ministry, you will grow in understanding, confidence, and effectiveness in your mission. The scholarship covers tuition for three courses, with online classes held one evening per week, allowing you to study from anywhere.
Applications close May 15, 2026, with courses beginning in September (or as early as July). Learn more and apply at stmarkscollege.ca/scholarships-and-financial-aid/#GraduateScholarships
Help Not Harm Canada
You’re invited to visit HelpNotHarmCanada.ca where you can e-mail your Member of Parliament (MP), asking for their support of Bill C-218 (The Right to Recover Act), which would amend the Criminal Code to prevent Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) from being provided when mental illness is the sole underlying condition. Without this change, MAiD will be available for those suffering from mental illness alone beginning in March 2027. Chances are you know someone struggling with mental illness — a family member, friend, or colleague. As Catholics and Canadians, we are called to offer care, hope, and protection — not death — to those who are suffering and most vulnerable. Visit HelpNotHarmCanada.ca today and ask your MP to support Bill C-218.
Memorial Service for the victims of the Lapu-Lapu Tragedy
This memorial service is intended to honour the victims and remember their lives, while offering comfort and solidarity to their families, loved ones, and all those who continue to grieve. Your presence would be a meaningful sign of support as we gather in remembrance, prayer, and healing. The service will be led by Archbishop Richard Smith and will take place at Holy Rosary Cathedral on Wednesday, April 29, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Learn more at rcav.org/announcements/memorialservice.
