Bulletin: Third Sunday of Advent
This Advent, take an important step in your spiritual journey by returning to Jesus in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. By opening your heart to his healing mercy, you are preparing a place for his joy and peace to dwell within you this Christmas.

Our parish relies on your generosity. Your donations each year directly impact our ability to minister to those in need, to provide special programs such as Alpha and CGS, to offer small group faith studies, to maintain our buildings, and to grow our parish school.
Your Project Advance tax-deductible donation will fund important works such as:
- Youth and young adults ministry in our parishes
- The construction of new Catholic schools
- Programs that support healthy families
- Feeding the homeless and vulnerable in the Downtown Eastside
- Pastoral ministry and support for the hospitalized
Our 2024 Parish Goal is $48,400
We have raised $46,000 to date
Once St. Patrick’s parish goal is met, all additional funds raised will be directed back to parish projects identified by your Pastor and parish team. Thank you so much for your generosity.

Thank you to Bernie Smith-Gander for the gift of the 5 beautiful evergreen trees that grace our sanctuary during this season of expectant joy.
Thank you to the team who went to Bernie’s property to cut down the trees, bring them back to St.Pats and set them up for us: Mike Albrecht, Martin Ferraris, Travis Wolfe, Kurt Thiele, Raff Misceo, Randy Tabada, Jose Guevarra, and Hajjie Gramonte. Thank you for your joy that brings this beauty to us all.

Thank you to the St. Patrick’s Parish Community for your generous donations to the Caring Place. They were overwhelmed with all the gloves, socks and toques that they received. God bless all. Merry Christmas and a very blessed New Year to all!
Thank you to our Parish Catholic Women’s League ministry for organizing this. Your efforts are a tremendous gift to our community.

Finished Alpha? About to start Rescue? Wondering what is next? Feeling like you want to give your faith life a boost? Email Hannah to inquire about small groups. Small groups are intended to build lasting friendships and deepen our love for Jesus and what He has done for us. Come experience authentic friendship, close bonds and learning more about Jesus in a far more personal way than perhaps ever thought possible.
Pre-labelled Parish donation envelopes are available for pick up for those who prefer to donate with cash or cheque.
Please use these envelopes starting Jan 1, 2025.
There is a limited number of physical envelopes available and they are pre-labelled based on parishioner preference.
For parishioners who donate electronically, there is no need to pick up a physical envelope for donations – your donations are recorded electronically and your envelope # does not change in the new year.
Envelopes for Second Collections are additionally available at the office for your use.
Please contact the parish office if you require paper envelopes and one is not already available for you.
