Bulletin: 14th Sunday in Ordinary Time
Father Matthew will be away on holidays starting July 4th and returning July 19th.
We are blessed to offer the following schedule during his absence:
July 6th through 12th – Fr. Joseph Nguyen will provide our weekend and weekday Masses.
July 13th and 14th – Fr. Joseph Thoai Lewill provide our weekend Masses.
Monday, July 15th – Fr. Patrick Le will provide our 8am Mass.
July 16th to 19th there will be NO weekday Mass while the church bathroom undergoes some needed improvements.

Our parish relies on your generosity. Your donations each year directly impact our ability to minister to those in need, to provide special programs such as Alpha and CGS, to offer small group faith studies, to maintain our buildings, and to grow our parish school.
Your Project Advance tax-deductible donation will fund important works such as:
- Youth and young adults ministry in our parishes
- The construction of new Catholic schools
- Programs that support healthy families
- Feeding the homeless and vulnerable in the Downtown Eastside
- Pastoral ministry and support for the hospitalized
Once St. Patrick’s parish goal is met, all additional funds raised will be directed back to parish projects identified by your Pastor and parish team. Thank you so much for your generosity.

St. Patrick’s has a thriving Altar Boys Ministry, led by Marko Jakus. We would like to invite any boys who are Grade 5 and up and who feel called to serve the parish in this very special way, to complete the sign up form on our website.
We will begin holding training sessions for both new and experienced Altar Servers in the next month.

Sacred Covenant with the Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc
We invite you to read and share the “Sacred Covenant” that was signed on Easter 2024 between the Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc, the Archdiocese of Vancouver and the Diocese of Kamloops. The official signed document is written in English and translated into Chinook. Read in full at rcav.org/announcements.

Arise Youth Retreat
All youth born in 2009 and 2010 (going into Grades 9 and 10 this September) are invited to the annual Arise Youth Retreat at Camp Jubilee in North Vancouver on August 26-30!
By combining practical skills, a faith perspective and spiritual development, participants will learn and grow in their faith through engaging activities, presentations, games, skits, reflection, sharing and the opportunity to interact with each other in a faith-filled, safe environment. We will explore self-identity, how to build community connections, and how to make Jesus Christ the centre of our lives.

Catholic Pacific College, whose mission is to form Catholics university students in the faith, is hosting a fundraiser dinner at the John Paul II Pastoral Centre in Vancouver on Monday, June 24.
