Our parish relies on your generosity. Your donations each year directly impact our ability to minister to those in need, to provide special programs such as Alpha and CGS, to offer small group faith studies, to maintain our buildings, and to grow our parish school.
Alpha is returning this January!
Join us in Holy Grounds for dinner, great conversation, and lasting connection. We invite you to bring a friend.
Guests to the series do not need to be Catholic or members of our parish. This event is open to everyone. Please register for this series of event so we can plan for the correct number of guests. You only need to register one time.
What is Alpha?
We believe that everyone should have the chance to explore faith, ask questions, and share their point of view.
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation.
Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. It runs online, in cafés, churches, universities, homes—you name it. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: connection, content, and conversation.
Join us in celebration and recognition of George and Ursula Bernemann’s 65th Wedding Anniversary.
Please join us in celebration and congratulations for the baptismal blessing and presentation of Katherine Loch.
Thank you to everyone who came out to help us put away our Christmas decorations at our annual ‘take down’ party.
Thank you to those who organize and run our Moms and Tots ministry!
Thank you to our helpers who make running Holy Grounds possible.
Thank you to our Alpha team who had a successful first evening & night session. A special thank you to Kathy, Jen & Manuela for supplying food for our event.
Finally, a huge thank you to Joanne for sharing her testimony this Friday at our monthly Encounter event.
Every act of help and support keeps our parish running and is an integral part of achieving our parish mission. We are so very grateful to all.
If you would like to serve the parish by donating your time or skills, please let us know.
As we step into 2024, we may sometimes need a bit of help with our intentions, or with moving forward from something hard, or we may be navigating challenges and illness of loved ones. Please tell us how we can pray for you. The form can be anonymous if you wish.

Weekend Getaway Marriage Conference
We are excited to partner with Family Life Canada to offer weekend getaways to married couples in the Archdiocese of Vancouver!
The Weekend Getaway is a marriage conference uniquely designed to enrich your relationship. For most couples, it’s a chance to reconnect, re-establish the foundation, and rekindle romance. For others, it’s a fresh start. For some, it will be the weekend that saves a marriage.
Wherever you’re at in your relationship, this retreat will be a weekend to remember.
The atmosphere will be relaxed, warm and fun! You’ll hear from real couples doing real life together… God’s way. You’ll be given time to process what you’re learning. And together, build a joyful marriage that lasts a lifetime.
The next getaway is on the weekend of February 16-18, 2024 at the Fairmont Empress in Victoria, BC. The fee is usually $299. Use promo code RCAVVIC to register for $199.
Accommodations at the Fairmont Empress Victoria for conference participants should be booked separately. Special room rate starts at $209/night before January 26; rates may vary thereafter.
The registration deadline is Wednesday, February 14, 2024. For more information call Joyce 604-683-0281 ext. 223 or visit beholdvancouver.org/events.
