There will be no Drinking with the Saints on Nov 25 and Dec 30th, instead we invite you to join the men for the Men’s Advent Retreat on Sunday, Dec 3rd at 7pm.

This retreat workshop aims to help men eradicate passivity and build life purpose and meaning. This workshop is facilitated by Brett Powell and his son, Jacob. On Saturday, November 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Holy Grounds Coffee House on the campus of St. Patrick’s Parish in Maple Ridge. Space is limited to 50. We are so excited to announce that our annual Advent Night for Women will be on Saturday, Dec 2nd at 7pm and for Men, Sunday, Dec 3rd at 7pm.
Both nights will be held primarily in the church and there will be a speaker for both nights. Following the talk we invite you to Holy Grounds for fellowship with food and drink. Attendees will all be given a gift as you are all so fearfully and wonderfully made. Tickets are $25 to cover the cost of food, rentals, speaker and the gift. Tickets are sold at the parish office (we accept cash & card).

Your support of Project Advance will help grow your parish and expand the reach of Christ’s love to those who need it most. It will fund initiatives such as pastoral formation, youth and young adult ministries, outreach programs for the vulnerable and in need, and the construction of new Catholic schools. St. Patrick’s has a thriving Altar Boys Ministry, led by Marko Jakus. We would like to invite any boys who are Grade 5 and up and who feel called to serve the parish in this very special way, to complete the sign up form on our website.
We will begin holding training sessions for both new and experienced Altar Servers in the next month.

Catholic Pacific College would like to invite you to our Breakfast Fundraiser hosted at St. Matthew’s Parish Hall on Monday morning, December 4. There will be Mass at 8am in the parish, and the program will begin at 9am. Our guest speaker is Fr. Deacon Andrew Bennett, a member of our Board of Governors and Program Director for Faith Communities at Cardus. Fr. Deacon Andrew is a fantastic speaker and I know you will enjoy the morning program we have lined up. We will have live Sacred Advent Music, student testimonies, and a word from our founder, Tom Hamel. Tickets are $30 each.
