We are so excited to announce that our annual Advent Night for Women will be on Saturday, Dec 2nd at 7pm and for Men, Sunday, Dec 3rd at 7pm.
Both nights will be held primarily in the church and there will be a speaker for both nights. Following the talk we invite you to Holy Grounds for fellowship with food and drink. Attendees will all be given a gift as you are all so fearfully and wonderfully made. Registration is $25 to cover the cost of food, rentals, speaker and the gift. Registration is online and at the parish office (we accept cash & card).
Your support of Project Advance will help grow your parish and expand the reach of Christ’s love to those who need it most. It will fund initiatives such as pastoral formation, youth and young adult ministries, outreach programs for the vulnerable and in need, and the construction of new Catholic schools. Tax-deductible donations can be made in person at your parish or online. Legacy gifts are also appreciated. Learn more and donate at projectadvance.ca.
St. Patrick’s Goal for 2023 is $47,000; as of this week we have raised $35,330.
Thank you so much for all the Alpha volunteers. These volunteers gave so much of their time & energy into the Alpha program. They showed up during hard days and joined in the joy of others in the good. We had over 50 people come through Alpha this semester. We had a Holy Spirit weekend in Duroche, as well as Vancouver. The volunteers and team were there for all of it. I am sincerely thankful for this amazing team. I understand that coming on a Wednesday night or Thursday morning may have had its sacrifices. Still, the team showed up with open hearts and hospitable smiles. And thank you to our cooks who made such beautiful dishes. Free meals are always appreciated!
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I give you all the blessings of my heart,
Hannah & the St Pats Staff including Fr Matthew”
