Please join us following Stations of the Cross on Good Friday for a light repast of Bread and Soup. Soup will be served between 1pm and 2pm. We ask that you please RSVP for Bread & Soup so we prepare enough for everyone.
Holy Grounds will be closed by 2:15pm for the Good Friday Service.
Reconciliation
Regular weekly confessions are available on Tuesdays at 6pm, Saturdays at 4:15pm, and by appointment.

Calling all teens of St Patrick’s’!
Saturday, May 3rd at Archbishop Carney! This event is meant for high school youth in grades 8-12 and the adults that are journeying with them as their parish youth ministry leaders, teachers, and mentors. This full-day event will include a keynote speaker, smaller breakout sessions, time for prayer, praise & worship music, food, and opportunities for you to interact with other youth from around our Archdiocese.
You MUST register with a group from the parish, not individually so please send an email to Hannah ([email protected]) if you are interested by April 18th. Deadline is April 18th to email. Please include the name, school & age of the young person interested.

Clarification on Holy Doors during the Jubilee of Hope
The Archdiocese of Vancouver has received many inquiries regarding Holy Doors during the Jubilee Year of Hope. This Jubilee Year, Pope Francis has designated Holy Doors exclusively at the four major papal basilicas in Rome to highlight the unity of the universal Church and to invite Catholics worldwide to make the traditional pilgrimage to Rome. There are no Holy Doors in Vancouver, though Catholics can still obtain the Jubilee Indulgence by following the instructions outlined at rcav.org/jubilee.

Vatican Survey on Abolishing Nuclear Weapons
The Vatican wants to hear from you! Pax Christi is conducting a survey of North American Catholics for their thoughts about nuclear weapons. Please take a few minutes to complete and submit this survey by April 17:

Pray the Way of Light this Easter
The Via Lucis (Way of Light) commemorates the fifty days of Easter through 14 key events of Christ’s life following his resurrection. Sign up to receive 14 emails, one per station, throughout the Easter season and pray the Way of Light on your own or with others at home or at the parish. Each email consists of a scripture reading, a reflection, and prayer. Sign up at rccav.org/light.
Installation Mass of Archbishop Richard W. Smith
With gratitude to God, the Archdiocese of Vancouver joyfully welcomes The Most Reverend Richard W. Smith as the Archbishop of Vancouver. His Installation Mass will be a moment of great significance as he formally takes up his ministry among us. Due to limited space, the Mass will be by invitation only. Everyone is invited to watch the live stream at rcav.org and join us in prayer on Friday, May 23 at 7:00 p.m.
March for Life
The annual March for Life in Victoria, BC takes place on Thurday, May 8. The participants meet at Centennial Square and march down Government Street to a rally at the parliament building. The March is a public witness to the sanctity of human life and a message to the provincial government of the need for changing the law to protect the most vulnerable, especially the unborn and the elderly. On Thursday, May 8, at 9:00 a.m. at the BC Legislative Assembly in Victoria. Learn more at beholdvancouver.org/events.Register by May 1 to reserve a bus seat.
