3rd Lenten Sunday March 3
The Ache of Emptiness
REFLECTION
What was your experience as you fast? When you felt the hunger, did you compensate for it in another place? When you felt the ache and the emptiness, did you give in and promise to make up for it later? Or did you push away the ache, and just ignored it without engaging your heart? Our hearts are always trying to tell us something. And these clues lead us to the root places in our lives.
-Restore; Sr. Miriam James
PRAYER
Jesus, may I hunger more deeply for you today.
May my aches lead me to call out to you so you can fill me.
Amen
The Stations of the Cross is a Lenten devotion that offers witness to Jesus’ Passion and Death. At each station we use our senses and our imagination to reflect prayerfully upon Jesus’ suffering, Death, and Resurrection, and to experience the visual images to reflect on Christ’s love for us.
