4thLenten Sunday March 10
The Healing Balm of Alms giving
REFLECTION
Alms giving invites us to go beyond ourselves to be with another who is in need – either financially or materially- and draws us into His relationship of communion. Both the giver and receiver experience healing through alms giving. This helps heal the disordered attachment to things. Helping us realize that we belong to each other, we were made for communion and relationship.
PRAYER
Jesus, Lord, please open my eyes so I can see as you see, the one right before me, who has deep need. Open my heart to bring me into communion with them and with You
Amen.

The Stations of the Cross is a Lenten devotion that offers witness to Jesus’ Passion and Death. At each station we use our senses and our imagination to reflect prayerfully upon Jesus’ suffering, Death, and Resurrection, and to experience the visual images to reflect on Christ’s love for us.
7:00pm – 7:45pm
Friday – March 15
NO STATIONS – FRIDAY MARCH 22 –
Please join us for our parish Penitential Service on this evening.

Ministry Updates & Upcoming Events

Lenten Mission
Thank you to Jeni, Cathy, Linda, Ron for cooking amazing soups and loaves of bread for our Lenten mission this past Friday. Thank you to Kristine, Jen, Vanessa and Paula for baking delicious gluten-free and sourdough breads. Thank you to Mike for his courage to share his story.
Alpha
Thank you to Jeni and Cathy for cooking a fabulous meal for our Alpha on Wednesday night. As well, thank you to Elaine, Shelly, Manuela and Ester for bringing amazing treats for the morning session.
Every act of help and support keeps our parish running and is an integral part of achieving our parish mission. We are so very grateful to all.
If you would like to serve the parish by donating your time or skills, please let us know.

The Knight’s of Columbus are providing a delicious and filling Pancake Breakfast complete with all the trimmings this coming Sunday, March 10th.
Join us after the 9am and 11:15am Masses this Sunday for community, conversation, and great coffee.
Breakfast is by Donation

Be sure to stop by the CWL Table at this week’s Pancake Breakfast to purchase a blueberry pie.

We talk a lot about Alpha (because it’s AMAZING), but we want to also highlight our Small Groups which are always here and always supporting us in our faith formation. Lent is a great time to sit and reflect on where you are at with God, others and, of course, yourselves.
Small groups are intimate groups designed to learn about the heart of Jesus and the heart of the Father.
**WARNING**
People who participate in small groups develop lifelong friendships and connections, and often end up volunteering to participate in more activities at the parish.
Please contact Hannah, our discipleship coordinator, to find out if we have a small group that would be a good fit for you or if a new one is in the process of being formed. We try our best to match you up with people of your same age and demographic. We have groups of moms, groups of men, groups of high school students etc…

During Lent we are called to Fast, Pray and Give Alms; many in our community need help. At St. Patrick’s we strive to support our community both in spirit and in body.
If you or someone you know is in need of prayers or support, please reach out.
